I have a hard time to see her as a Three. In the episode where she would have been wed off to some guy to her parents liking. Tenma and Harima (in various ways of ignorance) bent over backwards to end up helping her. She's a Six. That very episode, and her long dormant Ni Parent waking up to make her stand up to her Mother, and thus her Father. And doing so with a genuine smile that only a person who now owns themselves does, is exactly how a Six learns to apply faith, exactly BECAUSE of Tenma and Harima's support. Of course. Harima still got kicked. XD I understand that it seems easy to type her as Three. But I've known her character for YEARS. And watched the Animé many times. It remains one of my favorites. The Four wing that is proffered here was merely her dormant Ni trying to make heads and tails of her Father's "Traditionalist plans" for her. And her own Ni trying to make heads and tails. As such it was she who was crestfallen when she went to buy groceries and wine to cook for him. And he had to go away on some business trip. And basically left her in the rain. And in comes Harima with a umbrella. That is of course not directly correlated, or of mutual exact awareness. But the point is, she DID gain strength from that support. A three would tell themselves to go do it themselves, and brandish their skills/independence. But Eri does not have that nature to her. And what little nature that resembles it, is a species of artificiality, of when before those episodes, she was still trying to reel back and forth of her future prospects. In the previous episode, before she runs from home to live at Mikoto's; her aloof Five wing had her occupied in detached thought. Trying to find a way to extricate herself from the confinement of the dreaded wedding. So, her turning to Mikoto is a very Six-like way to instinctively react within one's true (Enneagram) nature.
