I think Tenma is INFP. I think the reason why he seems more extroverted is due to his ennegram 7w6, 7s are usually more extroverted since they are adventurers basically, and honestly Tenma's Fi is really so obvious, let me explain: In the first season, Tenma joined Raimon because of Gouenji, I mean, the ball had the symbol in it, Tenma wanted to play soccer not necessarily as a "new experience" but because it was his dream since he was a child!! He never gave up in any circunstance just because he wanted to play soccer, it means that soccer is THAT IMPORTANT to him. The other members of Raimon, they all slowly started seeing how dedicated Tenma was to this, that they started fighting beside him. The members didn't follow Tenma because he always came up with new ideas or because he always found the right answer to win, they started following him because they admired Tenma's dedication and how he never gave up! Hell, that scene when Tenma kept passing the ball to Shindou and shouting his name... I still cry ;-; In Go Galaxy, Tenma seems more introverted and reserved and I think it's because he kept using his inferior Te in an unhealthy way. Tenma kept deniying his Fi & Ne because nobody believed him (about seeing Katora) and he had the pressure of being a captain and basically save the entire universe??? By relying on his Te, he kept making decisions in order to keep everyone motivated and keep winning, he thought that's what he had to do, but it wasn't until Matatagi called him out in the match against Ixal Feet that Tenma realized he wasn't thinking properly, he should instead lead everyone to victory with his plays (basically by "being himself"), Tenma had to SHOW and not just tell, Tenma is much better at showing how he feels, and not just telling, basically what made everyone follow and admire his persistence in the first season. As an INFP myself I relate a lot with Tenma, I know that's not an argument, my arguments are above, but Tenma is literally an idol for me, and a lot of the things he does, it just screams much more Fi dom rather than Ne dom. His extroversion is easily explained by his enneagram. But I'd love to hear arguments for him being ENFP of course if anyone has.
