i find ENFJ votesrs completely weird i still see her as ENFP for the same person (but i completely understood your opionion ) but please lets see I don’t think Yachiyo becoming calmer, more patient, or more self-sacrificing necessarily means she became an ENFJ. To me, those changes can be explained naturally by maturity and experience. She lived for 8,000 years, endured an incredibly long period of isolation, lost her physical body, and carried the same wish throughout all that time. It would be completely natural for her to become more composed and reserved after everything she went through. As for the claim that she “started using Fe instead of Fi,” I don’t think the evidence presented actually proves that. Hiding the truth or only revealing herself when others need help isn’t exclusive to Fe. Fi users can behave the exact same way depending on their personal values and motivations. The real question isn’t what she does it’s why she does it. If we’re going to argue that she became an ENFJ, I think we need evidence that her actual cognitive process shifted from Ne–Fi to Fe–Ni, not simply that she became more mature or emotionally restrained. So far, I still see Yachiyo as a much older, wiser, and more experienced version of Kaguya—not as someone whose cognitive type fundamentally changed. As for the argument that her Te became weaker, I honestly don’t understand how that conclusion was reached. Fighting differently or being less aggressive in battle doesn’t demonstrate weak Te. Te isn’t measured by combat ability or how decisive someone is in a fight. It’s honestly a bit strange to equate Te with battle performance in the first place. 😭💔 What does that even have to do with Te? Even if we assume Yachiyo became less impulsive and more cautious, that still doesn’t mean Te disappeared or that Fe suddenly replaced Fi. After 8,000 years of isolation and waiting, it’s completely reasonable for an ENFP’s Si to become much more apparent. The tertiary Te and inferior Si naturally develop with age and life experience. A person may become more reflective, more connected to their memories, more patient, and more stable over time without their dominant function changing. So to me, what I’m seeing is the natural development of an Ne–Fi user whose Te has matured and whose Si has become more noticeable not a complete shift to Fe–Ni. Changes in behavior, maturity, or temperament over time don’t necessarily mean someone’s cognitive type has changed. Honestly, after 8,000 years, I think almost anyone would change on a behavioral level. Even an ISTJ could end up acting in ways that resemble an ENFP after that much isolation, stress, exhaustion, boredom, and life experience. But that doesn’t mean their cognitive functions suddenly changed. Behavior is much more flexible than cognition. People mature, adapt, develop their lower functions, and express themselves differently over time, but that’s very different from completely changing their cognitive type. Acting differently doesn’t necessarily mean you process information or make decisions differently. 😭
