Sappho نوع شخصية MBTI
شخصية
"ما نوع الشخصية Sappho؟ Sappho هو نوع ISFP في mbti ، 4w5 - sx/so - 479 في enneagram ، RLUAI في Big 5 ، IEI في Socionics."
[1/3] although i agree with most typing on this profile, i still feel like a full analysis needs to be done because there are lots of misconceptions about her. also our queen deserves nothing less tbh. (also i just realised i wrote most of this in the present tense and i'm too lazy to correct it lmao. apologies but my typology arguments still stand) 𝑴𝑩𝑻𝑰 𝒇𝒖𝒏𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 * sappho undoubtedly has stronger feeling than thinking functions. there is very little evidence of either ti or te in her work, which consequently makes her a likely fe or fi dom. * dominant fi - while i do think she is fi dom, i feel like it's been a bit clouded and her fi is not as absolutely obvious as people claim it is. the fact that her poetry is emotional and written from first person is indicative of fi; she seems more comfortable writing about herself than other people because she probably didn't think of others experiencing the world the way she did. she is also hyperaware of her identity and womanhood ("virginity, virginity, where are you gone leaving me behind? no longer will i come to you"). * possible fe - however, i could maybeeeeee see some fe in her, this could be explained by fe being her opp. personality function according to beebe's model though. in times of conflict she depicts herself as calm and wise, almost like she's guiding the other person, in her poetry. this could be due to her fi though, or her enneagram (which i'll get to 🤭). i feel like her being affluent and a teacher also plays into this and the fe-like behaviours are probably caused by her status rather than actual personality type. still, i thought it was worth noting since nobody addressed fe in her lol. * auxillary se - it is so painfully obvious that sappho is not an INFP. part of her being an ISFP is the fact that she is quite anti ne - she described herself as having a "quiet mind" which is contradictory of ne doms/auxs who often have many stimulating thoughts at one time. she is also focused on physical stimuli ("and i on a soft pillow will lay down my limbs") as well as physical forms of expression ("yes! radiant lyre speak to me, become a voice") which are characteristic of high se. the thing that makes her se aux and not dom, though, is that she thinks of herself in relation to the stimuli, rather than the other way around. if she were ESFP, she would probably be observant of stimuli even if they didn't relate to her however all of her poems that talk about physical stimuli only talk about her experience with them. this is probably due to her fi acting as a 'filter' as it's her most dominant function. * tertiary ni - this is also painfully obvious, and thus quite clear that she is not INFP or ESFP. ni is very future focused and embodies kind of a 'tunnel vision' where someone takes an idea and runs with it. in the person's mind, the future seems very concrete but on paper it appears vague since they have trouble articulating their vision. both the tunnel vision and future focus are visible in sappho's work ("someone will remember us, i say, even in another time"). her personification of the lyre could also indicate ni in the form of spirituality, however on its own this wouldn't really be sufficient due to the heavy impact that mythology had on ancient greek culture that would be mistaken for ni in the modern day. * inferior te - i honestly couldn't see any te in the fragments i have read, which is further evidence against ESFP. i'd assume that since te is an extroverted function, and her writing comes from a heavily introverted POV, that her te showed in her interactions as a teacher and within society which obviously makes it pretty hard to learn about now. probably the declarative nature of the previous fragment would be the best evidence for te in her work though. * overall, she definitely leads with her feeling function - specifically fi. i think she has a typical IEIE stack, making her MBTI ISFP and her jungian type IF(S).
