Introverted Intuition dominance makes no sense. Simply because he was part of an intricate plan doesn't make him an INTJ ... All his issues, and challenges seem to be a consequence of either Inferior Intuition: i.e. inability or resistance to foresee negative future outcomes, grounded, 'in the moment based approach to problems', an adaptable, concrete perception as opposed to a holistic, meticulous or thoughtful one, or an overly optimistic Extraverted Intuition (ES_J); particularly in the way that he over-estimated the control he had in the situation (Te) and didn't foresee any negative, potential outcomes (due to Playful, Optimistic Ne). He thought everything would work out the way he wanted it to. The only reason I'd vote ES_P over ES_J is that the benefits he sought from Iris were arguably Extraverted Sensing based; i.e. s3gsual pleasure, someone to bend to all his whims and make him feel good about himself without attachment, and being in full control. Contrast that with Eric's ( _ _FJ) approach with Patrick; he sought a meaningful, romantic relationship and even fell in love with his Companion.
