No matter the consensus, I wanted to share my problems with this "quiz" and any results by deconstructing an "statement" from the test: My Claims: 1. All 264 are similar and use the same, in my opinion, badly chosen questioning techniques (Connotative Statements) and make all results of this test highly untrustworthy. 2. People who heavily trust in using connotative statements will misunderstand the results/answers of people who don't understand the difference and or are used to using denotative statements in their lives. - Denotative = Literal, dictionary meaning. (Used best, if you want to be precise, objective, and avoid misunderstandings.) https://www.personality-database.com/profile/1900129/denotative-reasoning-types-processes-mbti-personality-type Connotative = Emotional, cultural, or implied meaning. (Used best, if you want to create emotion, suggest deeper meaning, or persuade) https://www.personality-database.com/profile/1900132 The main goal of the quiz seems to be to weaponize language to invoke emotions by distorting the meaning of some essential words and to ignore the denotative meanings of sentences, which makes it lose credibility (similar to the beloved 16personalities test), because it trades truth for evoking emotionality. Even if this test had tried to maximize this strategy, it's unlikely to have a higher truth rate of 60%* which is highly optimistic and still would be a half-lie (= not 100% true) / on or worse than "16personalities" level to give a comparison. (*according to ChatGPT). It's like saying the 16personalities test is 100% true. Example: Question 56: “Foreign languages don’t belong in my country.” Analysis 1. (Denotative) Meaning "Languages that are not native to this country should not be here." But language doesn’t “belong” or “not belong” the way a person or object might - it's an abstract tool used by people. So this sentence ignores the definition of “foreign” and “belong”, subtly changing their meaning to push a message. ***Just to mark the differences, here are the possible because ((Ne)>(Ti)) connotative meanings of this same statement*** (Connotative) Meaning This depends on tone, intent, and context, but it typically carries nationalist, exclusionary, or even xenophobic undertones. - A rejection of cultural diversity - Hostility toward immigrants or non-native speakers - A belief that “foreign” = inferior or threatening - A desire to preserve a "pure" national identity - Fear of losing control, values, or status due to outsiders 2. Possible Implications / Intents Foreign = bad, other, invasive Belong = morally or culturally acceptable Therefore: “People who speak foreign languages are outsiders and should not be here.” Nationalistic / Exclusionary Intent: To assert a belief that national identity = one language. Goal: Gatekeeping culture, often paired with anti-immigrant sentiment. Tone: Defensive, “protective” of culture, but rooted in fear or intolerance. Cultural superiority Intent: Imply that one’s own language or culture is superior. Goal: Marginalize other groups, especially immigrants or minorities. Tone: Condescending or authoritarian. Fear-based manipulation (Demagogic intent) Intent: Stoke fear that “foreigners” are “taking over.” Goal: Gain political or emotional support by stirring up identity anxiety. Tone: Emotionally charged, divisive. Ignorance / Misguided simplicity Intent: May be honest frustration (e.g., “I wish I understood everyone” or “I’m tired of not being understood”). Goal: Emotional expression, not exclusion, but lacks awareness of the deeper implication. Tone: Frustrated, but not hateful - could change with dialogue. Conclusion: You have to take this quiz with high (Ne) or high connotative understanding to get near the results you want, which still won't make them true, but will make you possibly feel heard and validated at best. If you really "think and have the stats" that *all* pedophilic people are 852 users, because this test is true, I propose that you try the following experiment: Put them all in jail, and look how society will be free and perfect now. Just a slight downfall in pedophilic behaviour wouldn't be enough as an expected result by the way, because that would disprove the validity of this quiz and mean that everybody could show pedophilic behaviour. That's the connotative fallacy quite literally.. It fails to pass the test of (Ti)-Critic integrity in higher proportions, because it lacks full integrity and truth, even though it seems to scream "truth here". "60%" truth isn't truth like at all. You're lying..
