Not nearly as melancholic and introspective as 4w5s tends to be. She is filled with a childish sense of optimism, naivety and delicate sweetness that I see so common in 9w1s. Amelie fits the entire 9w1 picture better than 4w5. She's not particularly depressive, she just feels lonely which is understandable considering her childhood. In order to settle her inner-turmoil, she sets off to help other people. Her inner-desire isn't to have an identity or obtain a sense of individuality. It ultimately boils down to achieving inner and outer balance by the means of helping other people, through which she can find fulfilment, something she herself unknowingly yearns for (it's sort of implied). She never, ever asserts herself, in any sort of situation (she helps those around her in a rather covert manner, as to avoid being a hassle to other people, and to avoid being involved in any sort of dispute). The entire romance aspect of the plotline was delayed because of a giant goose chase she intentionally caused. She continually avoids confrontation (9) by executing complex schemes, dropping vague hints all fuelled by her innate creative (and rather playful) nature (Ne). edit: oh my god we actually did it? wow :D
