As much as people would like to type her as a 2w1 since she extends herself by feeling the need to help and protect Alice and even Luther, I sense that she aims for safety and security for herself and even more so for Alice. Her main focus was to leave the country and fly to Canada with Alice and Luther because she believes it's safer and more secured there. It was mainly all for Alice whom she cared for the most. There were a lot of times she had to make sure every place she's gone into is safe for them, and if not they'd try to leave and escape right away. But, then again, my Kara always wanted safety for Alice (and everyone). She can easily tap into 5w6 as a 6w5 whenever she feels the need to understand and reassure Alice despite not having exact answers and explanations-- need to observe everything around her just to be safe and loyal to Alice because she never leaves her side. A huge skeptic but decides to trust because there's no other choice as long as no one is harmed.

After an altercation where Todd threatens to hurt Alice, Kara becomes deviant and protects Alice from him, taking her and running away from Todd, thus becoming Alice's "mother" in the process.
