As a Fi dom, even if you understand the value that lying could give you, lying is hard cuz authenticity is a value we inhereted with depth. It's like, everytime we lie because we need it we feel a pang of guilt or deception because something broke down inside. It's hard to lie with ease. We know that we're being hypocrites when we lie because of how much we value authenticity in others. And, for those that think "authenticity" is a stereotype, just think about it. Your values are conditioned by what you live and what you can get out of it. Authenticity, then, seems to be rather essential since you don't want your values to be based off lies and masks of vanity that only serve to hide suffering.
