Though Kurotsuno is ladylike in speech and mannerisms, she often acts like a rebellious teenager - normally aloof and expressing little emotion, save for annoyance and rage. She rarely smiles, if ever. She becomes quickly annoyed by others and gives off the impression of merely tolerating company. Kurotsuno does not hesitate in inflicting violence on others, regardless of how close they are to her. She easily beats up her father Sullivan and Met with little to no provocation. Though her violence is not of the sadistic sort; she uses violence as means to an end. Kurotsuno for instance has used violence to silence those she finds irritating, as well as in order to obtain a bag of her favorite chocolate. Most of Kurotsuno's rebellious nature is apparent in her interactions with her father Sullivan. Despite her father caring for her and wishing for her affection, Kurotsuno shuts him out and frequently insults him, calling him a "pest." In his attempt to enter her mansion, she hits him with a rock and beats him into the ground. Something which particularly triggers a negative reaction out of Kurotsuno is being called by her former name Olivia, since this reminds her of her past, which she has a complicated relationship with. Occasionally a memory of hers floats up, sometimes in the form of a dream. However, she seems to have trouble dealing with these memories (Si Demon), frequently suppressing her emotions and thoughts, saying "It's pointless to even think about." (Ni-Te-Se = INTJ with Unhealthy Fi and in Se Grip) At times, Kurotsuno displays a subtly softer side of herself. In chapter 6 : "Smile for the Camera" of Obsolete Dream, she finds Shikabone crying in Crow Forest and decides to comfort and offer him a handkerchief. Later in chapter 7 : "Bloody Dad", she also goes out of her way to visit Sullivan in the hospital after he had fainted, though she leaves again soon after. Kurotsuno also enjoys visiting different places to contemplate and learn about it, hence why she was wandering around Mogeko Castle.
