*minor spoilers for Atul's quests* I think ESFJ makes a lot more sense than ENFP for Atul. As much as he "seems like an ENFP" becuase he's a likable character who is always optimistic and he's fine with everything, ESFJ fits this as well. If he were an ESFJ his main function would be Fe. Extroverted feeling is a judging function which gathers information, based off of what other people feel is right, about what the correct course of action should be in any situation. Extroverted feeling is sometimes seen negatively because it has a vague sense of self, but that doesn't automatically make it so that any likable character can't be ESFJ. If Atul has Fe, it also makes a lot of sense why he is always optimistic. One aspect of extroverted feeling is making sure everyone in a group is happy, and Atul is constantly trying to help everyone on the ship to be happy. When he is hugged, he asks "How was that, favorite niece of mine?" and focuses on how the hug made Stella feel. Introverted sensing also fits as a secondary function. Atul's describes his favorite foods, pork chops and fried chicken, in terms of how they remind him of his past. For one of these (I think, I don't remember clearly) he said they remind him of his kids, and for another he said it reminded him of a meal his dad used to cook. I think liking every type of food could be attributed to Si as the 4th function if Atul is ENFP, and in my opinion, this is the main conflict. Does Atul eat every kind of food because he doesn't care how food tastes, with Si last, or does he eat everything because he doesn't want to hurt Stella's feelings by complaining with Fe first?
