Maria is one of two female leads in Songs From the Black Hole. She is a stereotypical "Bad girl," having tattoos, snakes, and having, according to Jonas, a low IQ. She is desperately in love with Jonas, but because of her delinquent appearance, he thinks she's not a good partner to settle down with and refuses to do so. Jonas thinks of her as his sexual ideal, and she loves rock music, partying, and having fun.
