What about 1 fix? When Earth insulted Titan and refused to apologize, he got really irritated and even broke up with him after trying hard to suppress his anger brought by the immorality Earth showed and finally failing. On top of that, Earth complained to Venus that “Mars thinks he is always right to do anything”. Though Earth said that out of his dissatisfaction with being forced to make an apology, it is not wrong to infer that Mars is a planet who cares about being right and sometimes likes to preach, and these are all characteristics of 1 fixers. Besides, Mars himself has admitted that he tends to think he knows better than anyone else, which brings him a sense of moral superiority. In fact, he is so E1-like that I used to mistype him as so/sx 1, but now I am sure that he is a so/sx 6, who is also concerned about whether he and others are right or wrong. The reason for so/sx 6 type is that the contributing factor to his high sense of morality is a head type’s one(the need to combat lack of security) rather than a gut type’s one(the motive to defend his boundary), as he is inclined to psychologically rely on Jupiter, who really knows a lot, to establish his sense of security and certainty not being wrong(and thus avoid being blamed or losing support), though subconsciously. In addition, another evidence that he fits E6’s motivation more exists when the Sun changed their obits. At that time, Mars expressed a strong will to get everything back on track from the very beginning for the sake of Earthlings instead of pure justice or absolute truth (compared with Neptune who calculated the hidden danger of the solar system and defying the Sun for that). This means that Mars does value his friends and their relationships (maybe he wants to seek support; and his subliminal preference for Earth is why I type his second instinct as sx),but how he maintains his relationships is by persuading his friends to be right and hence makes them better, just as an 1-fix does. Although his core desire is not to set up right moral rules to protect himself or others from being infringed by the “corrupted” universe, but to clearly tell right from wrong so that he can be independent and believe himself as well as gaining others’ support, he also relates to the former one a lot. Furthermore, E6(who is seen to doubt himself considerably) though he is, he appears more confident and assertive than his 9-fixed counterparts, such as Titan, which may also result from his strong 1-fixed traits.
