Summary: A dark fantasy novel about a young woman named Evike who was raised in a village full of people with magical powers who are referred to as Wolves or Wolf People. However, Evike was not blessed by their Gods with magical powers despite her origin in the tribe. Evike is seen as a burden and nuisance by her people. Woodsmen, a feared group in her tribe, take one single Wolf-girl every year and her people are quick to sacrifice her to the dangers of the Woodsmen. Evike unwillingly goes with the Woodsmen and is yet to encounter a great Journey ahead that will take lots of courage, alliances, and magic to defeat what is yet to come.
