Frederick Gideon is one of the antagonists of the Netflix adaption of Locke & Key. He was a former captain of the British soldiers in colonial Massachusetts, where he was possessed by a vicious demon of the Black Door that led to his death. In modern day, the demon was resurrected by the magic of the keys, and he embarks on a wicked quest once more. He is portrayed by Kevin Durand.
