Fe inf on this poll is wild. I can understand where it might be coming from though, since INTPs tend to be passive and mellow, or less abrasive in general. The same can be said about ISTP 9's. However, ISTJs can be easily be quite gentle and nurturing, some can be mistaken for their feeler counterpart. Si and Fi is a lovely combination, which can make for ISTJs being soft towards those they care about. They are reliable, patient, and highly principled individuals. Usually, they are also noticeably tactful and not very harsh either.Though generally speaking, thinking types with a tertiary feeling function fit the bill. Voting INTJ would also make more sense, they are more emotional and caring than they may let on initially. Fi tert really takes the cake in terms of being gentle.
