What personality type is Choi Han? Choi Han is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/so - 468 in Enneagram, RCUAN in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
Okay, now that I have opened my eyes to the possibility of Choi Han being an ISFP rather than an ISTP, I've decided to change my mind. He suits the ISFP description more with the function stacks; I believe I thought he was an ISTP beforehand because of his past— Which is why I thought he was a RLUEN too. He's more of a RCUAN now that he's healthy compared to his fated challenges. In the original novel, it was more that Choi Han was forced into going on adventures and training himself physically. During that entire novel, he would've been a very unhealthy ISFP in the appearance of an ISTP; doubling the effect due to his temperament. The point is, Choi Han was forced to adapt to his changes during that time. We can see his more attentive side when with Cale and how he had decided to join him: The reason why Choi Han followed Cale was because of Cale's moral standing, otherwise, he would've beaten him if he saw evil intentions and/or disregard for human life as he had done originally [Fi.] Indeed, Choi Han doesn't come up with plans or anything now that he has his family– rather he can be seen as inefficient in that aspect due to his failure in saving the world at the end of the original novel (it's been a while since I last read TCF, so I could be mistaken.) Perhaps that is why he gets along with Cale and depends on him a lot. Cale is an INTJ [NiTeFiSe] while if Choi Han is an ISFP [FiSeNiTe], his 'Te' would be less needed as it is his worst function out of the four he has. Which would be a perfect match-up since they both are good at something the other struggles with. Anyway, yes, I believe it makes more sense that he is an ISFP.
