What personality type is Elemental? Elemental is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/sx - 954 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
I think the issue has always been to look at the manifested externality over what the system's principles and dynamics would more analytically be suggesting. The description doesn't represent the combination that diversely well, and there's much more to a type than that. The states have three categories, and the three categories have three temperaments, the descriptions of those temperaments are more accurate than the joint description since they do reason better with the dynamic. 3DPsyche's own correlations are not to be taken seriously either. And that brings one to the question of why would a sensorily relaxed type be Se aux and Si base? Si base seeks a similar set of sensations that it prefers, and that just doesn't sound like abstraction at all, and neither does it sound like. Abstraction rebels from the sensory conventionalities, is relaxed with whatever sensation or manifestation that comes across and can be as less specific about sensation as possible. Instinction alongside is a much more relaxed rationale, and that would work better for an Ni-base type, especially 3Ni, because of focusing on the internal, and the internal alone. Dispassion saves it from emotionality and would suggest 1D feeling for one. So why would a type, that rebels from sensory specificness, and prefers a more relaxed exploration of the internal, be Se aux, as Se is a function that seeks sensory stimulation in a raw manner. Se is a little too output-focused to be as sensorily relaxed as Abstraction, which prefers being in the within more. Si base seeks a soothing experience, but it's still concerned with its own sensations and prefers utilising them in a way (aesthetics, mechanics).
