What personality type is Barbie Roberts? Barbie Roberts is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 2w3 - so/sx - 297 in Enneagram, SCOAI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
Barbie is archetypally ESFJ and Social 9, but this Barbie is somewhat different. Hot take: I think she's a social 7. I'll probably elaborate more later once I watch more of the show. To be fair, I haven't seen all the seasons, so maybe I'll change my mind. I really don't think she's a 2 though. She doesn't have the cold ambition and desire for social prestige of the social 2. I can't see SP2 either and definitely not SX2. She cares a lot about doing the right thing and working hard for good causes, and while I can see subtle pride, it's not rooted in ambition and the desire for social climbing of the social 2. It's more so the subtle and usually suppressed pride of the social 7. She knows she's a good person and does a lot for others, but she doesn't give to get and her giving certainly isn't rooted in ambition and pure pride. Also, I stick to Jung in my typing (I don't use the Grant function stack) so Ne-Fe, not Ne-Fi (it's only logical that an extroverted person suppresses their introverted functions and vice versa). She's an Fe user for sure, but I do think her Fe backs up her Ne and not the other way around. She's possibly ENFJ (Fe-Ne), but the only enneatypes I can see working for her are Social 7 and possibly Social 9, and neither works with ENFJ. Healthy Ne types are described by Jung as well-equipped for being leaders of good causes and for being the minds behind ventures to make the world a better place. These talents are supported by their propensity for novel ideas and creative leadership. This sounds A LOT like her.
