Oliver Putnam MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Oliver Putnam? Oliver Putnam is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sx/so - 379 in Enneagram, SLUEI in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.

AHH OLIVER!! Ngl he was too much and quite shameless at times. After finishing the first season, I think it makes more sense that he’s an ENFP. Him, being an Ne dom is extremely obvious, manifesting in moments where he goes off on tangents regarding his new musical or project ideas. Sometimes his ideas are too unrealistic that the execution flops. “We got to start thinking outside of the box here!” — Oliver With that being said, I also think he uses Fi-Te instead of Ti-Fe because if I compare him to the other 2 main characters, Mabel and Charles, Oliver doesn’t make decisions on his own framework of knowledge. He applies his logic to the external world, preferring how to improve a situation and see a tangible RESULT (Te). Charles and Mabel differ because they’re the ones more concerned on finding and thoroughly understanding the collected evidence of the murder (Ti). Oliver is the one who’s more invested in creating a podcast, wanting to get the coolest lines on tape, sometimes asking charles record his lines again because they weren’t good enough, which makes me think that he doesn’t operate using Ti. Ultimately, strong Ti users like Charles and Mabel want to UNDERSTAND and make sense of everything while Oliver is concerned with the execution of the podcast, needing to solve the murder to make a profit because he’s in debt. I don’t think he uses Fe either because because in the beginning of the season, Oliver is already in a rocky relationship with his son because he used all of his son’s college funds to support his failed musical. Despite being aware of that, Oliver continued to ask for more money because he was going to get kicked out of his apartment. This demonstrates more Fi>Fe imo. Charles, who has inferior Fe, even demonstrates his Fe (more than Oliver) when he declares to take a break from the podcast, that doing the podcast isn’t a great idea because his current girlfriend at the time got hurt from the murderer, while Oliver persists. I think he attempts to solve the murder using Fi anyway too. Oliver is more prone to make baseless accusations of others like persuading Charles that Mabel actually killed Tim Kono (in the ep where they follow Mabel and Tie-Dye guy) and he’s never afraid to express his own individuality and distastes to others which makes me think that he makes decisions based on his personal feelings more than thinking.
