the reason ISFP is more likely than INFP , is because despite both being Fi doms thriving to self express their emotions, Se users will do it in a more concrete and straight forward way like dressing all black , makeup, etc. Ne users are more conceptual and direct their self expressioned emotions by finding different ideas that suit them like walking somewhere by themselves, drawing etc. so INFP's can still be emos but rather on the inside than on the outside. also the ISFP's Ni loop can cause them to feel hopeless about their future and give them a large struggle of trying to find a way move forward , with Si anxiety you're gonna be stuck to the past , and negatively ponder about your past experiences rather than being focused on the present moment , emos tend be more upset about the current situation of their lives

Teenagers who are whiny, self-important, and generally trying to work their way to self-identification. The character type based off the Emo persona. The things that differentiate and identify Emo Teens are that they dress in black, listen to strange music (specifically, the "emo" genre, whence the term comes) and generally think that they are erudite (or, at least, surprisingly coherent). The slightly better-kept ones are usually political. If the character is female, she will tend to be extremely self-conscious about her appearance, but implausibly attractive all the same. Since Emo Teens cultivate an out-of-the-mainstream image, sometimes writers get lazy and use them as a stand-in for any variety of geekishness that isn't considered "too nerdy".
