What personality type is Mallory Zapata? Mallory Zapata is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sp/so - in Enneagram, RLOAI in Big 5, in Socionics.
She's difficult to type because she is emotional and yet uncomfortable with her emotions and showing emotions. She has her guard up with everyone she meets and projects a certain persona in order to protect her tender feelings. Emotional vulnerability doesn't come easy for her, and yet she chose Sal because he offered her an emotional sanctuary, someone she can be vulnerable with. She mirrored whoever she spoke to; with Sal she was open and tender, and with Jarrette she was playful and teasy. She almost had this sort of fakeness to her when she spoke. I think that's Ni-Fe in the works. She remains an enigma even to the viewers. I think her 4 core makes her believe that if she shows her true cards she will be misunderstood and hurt. That she is flawed and that people may not accept her fully. But she was willing to take that risk because a serious relationship involves a certain degree of vulnerability.
