He's got pretty clear markings of an LSE. He's incredibly practical and views everything on a value-basis and is incredibly frugal (Te), while also taking interest in Si-like activities, such as furnishing, clothes (when he threw away Art's jacket), and even dabbling in his own, amateurish understanding of medicine. He even fits Gulenko's definitions of LSE functions, as he uses Te and Si to minimize spending AND minimize discomfort. In addition, there's SOMETHING about him which makes him Fi suggestive. Deep below his hard exterior, he's a people pleaser. He's bad at gaging psychological distances, but he's still eager to help and accommodate. I've also thought that it was clear he's an ESTJ. ENTP seems likely on a surface-level analysis, but I think his Ne is his tertiary function, even though it's well developed. As for his enneagram, I think both self-preservation 1w9 and social 6w5 are possible. At times, it's hard to gage his enneagram, but I'd argue that a huge part of his motivations is safety and well-being of those he loves (2 fix).
