Biography
Amphion was the twin brother of Zethus in ancient Greek mythology. Ampion was the son of Zeus by Antiope. He and his brother are important characters in one of the two founding myths of the city of Thebes because they constructed the city's walls. His wife was Niobe. After Artemis and Niobe killed all of their children, he killed himself and Niobe turn to stone as she wept for her deceased family.
