Lawyer MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Lawyer? Lawyer is an ESTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - so/sp - 368 in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.

For me, having worked in the field for some time now, it is ESTJ. I get why people vote ENTP, but being a lawyer is not like in the films or TV shows. It is not (only) about having out of the box ideas. Having balanced Ne and Si is the best combination for a lawyer. You need to do repetitive work, being on top of your cases so yo do not miss court deadlines, and being diligente with paperwork, so a developed Si is crucial. As for when you are working in a case, Si again is crucial. Details are REALLY important, and you usually have to research the law and previous similar cases for a really long time. Then comes Ne. Finding patterns, new ideas and out of the box solutions are key here, but you have to do it within a previously stated frame. As for F/T functions, Te dom and Fi inf is probably the best combination. Sometimes you will have to put your values aside and suck it up, so lower Fi is better. As for Te dom, having a good work ethic and trusting factical and objective logic is a great advantage. Ti is not that useful in law and I do not see Fe as useful either, apart from Fe users being better at networking than other types, which will get them more clients. As for Ni/Se... I do not see it. I see some of you saying INTJ and ENTJ, but as I stated, Si and Ne are more useful than Ni. Adaptability, not focusing on just one option, and building your legal position in what is written and was previously stated by the courts is what makes you successful. As an INFP, Ne is what has made me more successful in finding solutions and options that my lower Ne bosses could not come up with. Tert Si serves me, but not having a strong one, coupled with inferior Te, is my weakness. So strong Si and good Ne. And for the other functions, Te is the best one here. So ESTJ. Of course, it can be a bit different in common law countries (UK or USA), but I think my point still stands. Every type can be a lawyer, but the type with the best functions to do it is ESTJ. As for enneagram, I would say 1, but I understand 3 too.
