What personality type is Toa Tokuchi? Toa Tokuchi is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sp/sx - 853 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
i'm an ISTP, i assure you tokuchi is no ISTP. He has the same exact personality/ideology as Akagi shigeru (even same voice actor xD). He has Te not Ti, he is all about effeciancy "a baseball player's role is not playing baseball, it's winning - Tokuchi" and giving commands and he interacts with his teammates only when intending to use them as pawns for his strategies, he has a universal logic base instead of a subjective one [tokuchi to kojima : Winning is everything, the loser has to submit to the winner, that's the universal truth of things]. That's pure Te-Fi. Also his Fi is shown in his obssession of keeping the promise he gave kojima until they won thr championship & also when sympathizing with hideo arai and inspiring him just because he is a pitcher like him. and wait, he is Fe-inferior?? The way he has a psychological dominance/influence on the whole pitch and how his awareness of the logic that other players may use in their play, cannot get more Ni-Te. He is more of a 'I have a strategy and i will manipulate the whole pitch into it' than a 'Recklessly Diving aggressively with a focused tunnel-vision' like kobe and jordan. the only ISTP i can think of in that anime is his rival takami. Tokuchi is basically an akiyama/akagi with a bad-boyish attitude (which i'm assuming is the only thing that makes you think he is ISTP -_-).
Biography
Toa Tokuchi (渡久地 東亜)is the main character in the series, One Outs. A successful gambler and pitcher in the game called "One Outs". After losing a game of One Outs for the first time ever to Kojima, he joins the Lycaons with an odd contract, the One Outs contract, that decides his pay based on his performance. He uses his perceptive intellect to manipulate professional baseball, and becomes a professional baseball team pitcher. In that role he psychologically manipulates and intimidates the batters he faces along with playing high-stakes psychological and intellectual battles against his own antagonistic team owner, competing team coaches, and underhanded opposing teams.
