Giacomo Casanova MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Giacomo Casanova? Giacomo Casanova is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - sx/so - 784 in Enneagram, SCUEI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.

“Beauty without wit offers nothing but the enjoyment of its material charms, whilst witty ugliness captivates by the charms of the mind, and at last fulfils all the desires of the man it has captivated.” “I often had no scruples about deceiving nitwits and scoundrels and fools when I found it necessary. …We avenge intelligence when we deceive a fool, and... deceiving a fool is an exploit worthy of an intelligent man. What has infused my very blood with an unconquerable hatred of the whole tribe of fools from the day of my birth is that I become a fool myself when I am in their company.” Lust/Gluttony aren't particularly related to functions and are characteristics featured in vastly varying personality types. For Casanova's case it could easily be explained by his 7w8 core enneagram and most likely 8w7 fix.

Biography

Perhaps the most famous lover of all time, whose sexual reputation is so (in)famous and notorious that it coined the term, The Casanova. Giacomo Girolamo Casanova (2 April 1725 – 4 June 1798), was a Venetian libertine and a rake who spent half of his life embarking on sexual pursuits, his experiences of which are recorded in his memoir, Histoire de ma vie ("The History of My Life", he wrote it in French). The books covers his birth to 1774, though there is some question as to how much of his autobiography is true, and how much is exaggerated. What made Casanova stand out was his values. He was well-known to be a chivalrous pervert who valued women's intelligence and cared enough to satisfy them emotionally and sexually, which was unusual by the standards of the day. Casanova boasted that he had sex with over 10,000 women, though his memoir only mentioned 120 sexual partners over the course of his life. He also reported using condoms and consumed 50 oysters (considered an aphrodisiac)
