Patrick McKenna MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Patrick McKenna? Patrick McKenna is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 1w9 - sp/so - in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, in Socionics.

Just watched this movie and I have to agree with the current consensus. The following comment will contains spoilers, so read at your own risk. His mbti type for sure is INFJ. Ni + Fe is clearly visible for his wish to fulfill his idea/vision of science and church never mixing and to show the "goodness" of the church via union. Also seen in the scene where he "sacrifices" himself for the "greater good" by taking the bomb away to explode midair. That way, he convinces the public that he in indeed a "hero" who saved his beloved city from (his own secretly planned) destruction. Ti is seen with his rather morally grey methods to prove his ideal true. He put multiple lives in dangers all in the name of "good" and proceeds to justify on how it was worth it all at the end based on his own subjective logic. Maybe inferior Se could be seen with the scene where he impulsively snatched the bomb away and ran away with it. Possibly seen with the scene where he sets himself on fire when panicked by the revelation of his crimes to the rest of the church. His enneagram is most likely a 1 core (with 9 wing) due to his will to have results for what he believes is true "good". Typical "the end justify the means" mentality from him because to him everything will be good if the result is good. Also, during the scene where he sets himself on fire, he dies in a way the audience could see that he regrets all what he did because now not only God knows that he commits atrocities. Overall, at the end, he died as a servant of God even if his methods to prove such loyalty was filthy. Perhaps, if there was one scary thing about enneagram 1s, is that a 1 could possibly not realize that the taken actions are harmful or "bad" in the first place due to desired "good" ending and it clearly applies here. His overall instictual stack would be sp/so. Sp 1 could be seen during the time he confronts the church and at the end with the scene in which he is on fire. Self-preservation 1 is known for their repressed anger and are known that wanting to "fix" the details they see as wrong by themselves. Also, with the idea of his plan being to "improve" the unity of the church shows his obsession on not only constant improvement but also perfectionism of religion itself. His repressed anger seen through his disappointment at the church for not uniting under his ideal when danger (that he planned) was approaching the city of Rome. Judging by this information, we can assume that his self-directed anger was at the fact that he couldn't get the church to be as the "good" standard that he idealized stemmed from when the Pope took him in. So 1 is seen when he wants to set himself up as a morally good example with his whole plot and his "heroism" during his "sacrifice" scene. That's my overall analysis for him. If I get anything wrong, please let me know. :)
