The mechanism of Ne-Ti can be pretty different in ENTPs and INTPs, it's not a mere matter of extraversion rather than introversion. An ENTP could get lost in all the abstract information going from one topic or point of view to another even without having given a logical judgement to that information. An INTP is driven in the abstract information by the logical judgement, which is the real matter of the INTP, and he can get lost in logical analyzing of something at the point of ignoring the constant flow of new information. It can help to think about their different approach in a conversation, where the INTP continues to think of a topic even when the ENTP and the other people are no more taking about it and they are now on a different topic, and he may comes up with a new thought about the old topic and puts it in the conversation though it doesn't fit the new topic. The curiosity is in analyzing and understanding different topics or points of views (not just in mere accumulation of new information) and when Ti is dominant this approach is pushed to the highest levels.
