I'm an ISFJ and I confuse people. I love making social connections, and can be socially warm, but my energy peters out quickly. I'm all in at a social event, and then have to leave to majorly recover in solitude (which I absolutely love). I can navigate both extrovert style conversations and introvert style, but prefer the deeper introvert style....which freaks people out since they often think I'm more extroverted. I'm always looking for something personal I can conect with someone about regardless. I walk both extrovert and introvert worlds in a way, which can be tiring in and of itself, but is also very cool and meaningful to me. One of my closest friends (I have very few) is an INFP, and she seems almost more social than me sometimes. She pushes herself even further than I do, past exhaustion, to help and connect with others. I wonder if that's across the board with INFPs. Hmmm....
