Personality

What personality type is Simón Álvarez? Simón Álvarez is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - so/sp - 947 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.

my elaborate agrument for why he's ISFP just in case (i originally wrote it in repiles under my first comment) Fi is all about internal values and gut instinct. Basically, Fi-users perceive the world through their core beliefs and moral code. Like, they're always asking themselves: "Does that resonate with what I believe in?" And they're very protective of their values. Authenticity and staying true to themselves their number one priority. And I think we can see that a lot in Simon throughout the series. Also he's kind of quiet and reserved. Like, you can definitely say that he is more introverted than extroverted. He needs time alone to think through things. Even though he's pretty much chill, friendly, accepting of other people, and dislikes arguments and conflicts (that's his enneagram 9 showing), he will defend himself and those he cares about when he feels attacked or threatened. His Se is also pretty obvious. He is very spontaneous, practical and aware of his surroundings. He is easy-going, likes to "just have fun" and not afraid of trying and experiencing new things (moving to Argentina without a plan just to be near his best friend/the girl he's in love with, joining a band, joining competitions, etc). His Fi+Se combination is shown in his creativity. He uses music to express himself and his feelings. We can see his tertiary Ni in his "gut feeling". Like, when he feels like he "just knows" things. For example, believing that Ambar is good underneath all the facade even though her behaviour says that she is not. Also him believing in Ambar and staying near her despite everyone around him saying that she is a lost cause and he should stay away from her is a pretty good example of his dominant Fi. When he truly believes in something, he doesn't care what other people think. His own judgment and the way he feels about something is more important to him than opinions of other people. His inferior Te is also shown throughout the series. He's not the most ambitious person. Mostly, he does things just for fun and because he enjoys the process, or because it's important for his friends. But he doesn't care about efficiency and quick and logical decision-making. He's more focused on trying to understand if the decision he's making is aligned with his morals and his emotions. But I feel like Ambar helps him to develope his inf Te in season 2, when he's rehearsing with her her song for "Open Music". I think their conversations are like a textbook interaction between enneagrams 9 and 3, and ENTJ and ISFP too. And, idk, just the way he speaks, his actions, his attitude, his vibes scream ISFP to me. He always says the most beautiful words to Luna, Ambar and other people that just hit the point. But these words can also be the sharpest ones when he wants to make a point about something negative (what he said to Ambar after finding out that she set fire to the rink, or after she won the competition with Red Sharks, or when he broke up with Luna (season 1) saying that he knows that she is not in love with him).
