The Lord of Sin. Azmodan is famous to be one of the greatest generals in Hell, having won several battles against Angels in the past (not that we get to see any of his strategic prowess). In Diablo III, he and Belial try to take over Sanctuary following the Prime Evils' apparent death. After learning about the Black Soulstone's existence, he unleashes his legion in an attempt to get his hand on it, so he could absorb it and become the Prime Evil.
