People questioning ESTP are overthinking it. Tony isn’t a super well-developed character. This is a “if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck” situation. I could argue that tertiary Fe is evident due to his quest to be loved which seemlingly contradicts his uber Se self-serving materialistic and power and status seeking nature, but that’s the main plot device right there. He’s very driven by lust and wants Elvira to love him not because he cares for her but because of what her affection would mean to him about HIM. She is a status symbol to him. Ultimately, 8w7 is obvious, and Se dominant is obvious. ESTP fits better than ESFP. He could be an ESFP but honestly the characterization is shallow enough in the movie that I don’t think it makes that much of a difference. He is an Se dominant sexual Eight. The movie is about EIGHT and about SE. That we know for sure. And ESTP just fits better. I wish we had more to work with but the movie isn’t about deep characterization. Quack quack. He’s an ESTP. Dunno what else to tell you. If I were forced to defend Ti secondary I would quote the importance of truth and “his word.” Fi POLR also makes sense because he will do *almost* anything to pursue what he wants (with the irony of the film being that the one time he acts like he has morals it brings about his downfall.)
