Exar Kun is absolutely not an enneagram 5. Just because he pursued knowledge doesn't make him a 5. Type 8 individuals are characterized by their desire for control, dominance, and their assertive approach to life. Exar Kun exemplifies this through his leadership and manipulation. He seeks to control the Force, those around him, and ultimately aims to reshape the galaxy according to his vision. This drive for control and influence is much more aligned with a Type 8 than a Type 5, who typically seeks knowledge and understanding rather than control. Exar Kun’s methods are aggressive and confrontational, typical of a Type 8’s direct and sometimes combative approach to challenges. Type 5s, in contrast, are more withdrawn and cerebral, preferring to observe and understand rather than confront. The core fear of a Type 8 is being controlled or harmed by others, which leads them to assert control to protect themselves and maintain their independence.
