Probably the greatest manipulator in Call of Duty history. He managed to thwart the extraordinary plan of the trio Dragovich, Kravchenko & Steiner simply by being himself. It's obvious that Reznov is an empathetic manipulator. While Black Ops 1's trio of antagonists set up an entire process, a system, to brainwash Alex, Reznov left an indelible imprint on Alex's life, his passage, his wishes and his mission far surpassing the brainwashing Alex underwent, which explains why his revenge succeeded. A charismatic man who inspires others, he takes charge of whatever situation he finds himself in, thanks to his keen sense of justice. When he expresses potential revenge against the Germans during the Stalingrad massacre, he's not speaking for himself, but for his people. Similarly, when he realizes the Soviets' betrayal of the Nova project, his vengeance is not just for himself, but for the group. This is why Fi dominates Ti, even if the difference isn't obvious because of his “insensitivity” to things, and this is due to his mental strength, even though he is Fi before Ti. The fact that he was Fi before Ti is demonstrated several times, as when he insists that Petrenko be the one to plant the flag in Berlin, or when he saves Mason at the expense of his own life (even though he did it for manipulative purposes regarding what Mason would remember about him, he did it anyway), or when he takes the dying soldier Chernov's book to be recalled. The CIA, the British, the Germans - all heard of him at least once. His rise was so great that Savanna Mason made him her first archetype, when she might have preferred people from her own family, like her father, for example. As Steiner himself said, Alex is one of the most resistant experimental subjects. Clever manipulators have tried to attack her sanity and use her by force, but to no avail. Reznov alone was able to convince Alex Mason simply by using himself. The best-written character for my taste, the ENFJ vote goes to him in my opinion.
