What personality type is Qiu Tong? Qiu Tong is an ISFJ personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - so/sx - 927 in Enneagram, RCOAN in Big 5, SEI in Socionics.
Definitely Si-Fe. You can see how attentive she is to small details and organizing things and small bits of Ne in how comtemplative she is compared to the Se dom Sun Jing. She's also very naturally accommodating and attentive to the needs of others. An INFP can of course be just as selfless, but would question things more and pay more attention to their morals and values than to past methods, routines and organizing all the details. I also believe her high Fe is the reason why she was so nervous when it came to her relationship with Sun Jing. She wasn't dismissive at times because she didn't like her, I'm pretty sure she liked her from very early on. I believe she was just too scared to reciprocate her feelings, because due to her high Fe she was too worried about what others would think of her. Let's keep in mind that this manhua started in 2014 and even today, homophobia is unfortunately a thing, so it would only make sense for her to have a hard time accepting she has romantic feelings for a girl. Sun Jing, on the other hand, has lower Fe (it's strong and healthy, but still lower in her stack), so she's not that concerned. She also has dominant Se, so that would explain why she was more confident and had less problems (though it was still reasonably difficult for her at times, because love is hard for everyone) expressing her feelings. Also, a few arguments as to why 9w1 and not 9w8. 9s (9w1s, to be specific) aren't different from other enneatypes in any special way. What we can see from her is assertive anger, which is what every enneatype has. 9w1s get assertive when their values are threatened. 9w8s do too, but they also sometimes go out of their way to have control over something, because while enneagram 1 desires to be good and obiding, enneagram 8 desires being independent and invulnerable. That is not something Qiu Tong desires. Qiu Tong defends herself and her values when it's necessary, but she never goes out of her way to show anger, to gain control nor to assert something. If she was a 9w8, she'd not only show anger more openly instead of repressing it, she'd also be assertive more than necessary and perhaps wouldn't even hesitate to use physical violence to defend herself or to assert something, which we can see from Sun Jing (who definitely has an 8 somewhere in her tritype). A pretty notable example of this is that moment when Sun Jing confessed her feelings to her, she walked away and didn't call Sun Jing annoying until she asked, because she tried her hardest not to be offensive. Also, obviously, there is no lust in her, so even going strictly by Naranjo she's not wing 8.
