What personality type is Kizuna Tomori? Kizuna Tomori is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - sx/sp - 287 in Enneagram, SLUEN in Big 5, SEE in Socionics.
Looking back at it I don't think Kizuna's a core 3. Her FTEs are very evident of this. While deceit and vanity towards others is evident, she never lies to herself and doesn't try to keep trying fooling others with her charm when she realizes she can't get what she wants. She has no ideal perception of self, she simply has an overexaggerated perception of self that is more akin to those who are core 2. She pushes for Yuki to see her as your stereotypical hot girl so that Yuki will give her what she wants down the line. She does this through flirtation, physical invasiveness, and fake friendliness. It's evident she does not care about tricking Yuki and having Yuki see her as what she wants to be seen as because she does a complete 180 on him. The most revealing part of the fact she's a 2 to me was her breakdown in her last FTE. "The only part of me they like is my looks. I know that too. Who'd really give everything to a girl like me?...It was the same for every man I met. They didn't care about who I am as long as I looked "hot." You don't know how much stress I've gone through because of that. All those men will think it's okay how I act if they can just be with a pretty girl. That's why I think of men as my servants. Her breakdown at the end also reveals her really strong 8 fix. She fears her weaknesses being found out and justifies her manipulative actions because she was utilizing her perceived nature of those around her to her advantage (usually an 8 mannerism to go against what is socially accepted or to use what is socially accepted to their advantage - a loophole of sorts). She learned that she can get men to do anything for her if she just uses her appearance and acts cutesy for them. This however turned into immense stress and pressure for Kizuna to maintain an image of being the flirtatious girl that would be cute for other people. Her "weakness" in this case comes from her core 2. She fears being found out as someone who just wants to be loved. She greatly desires having friends and a boyfriend but does not want to be seen as weak, and therefore treats social situations as competition with a hierarchy. The sx2 is known to be the aggressive 2 because of how much they need to feel loved. To them, personal relationships become the center of their life and if they feel threatened by it, they tend to act aggressively in order to maintain it. This combined with her sp8 which does anything in order to obtain what they need to feel preserved causes Kizuna to feel the need to keep a close eye on her relationships with other people to the point where its become a problem in her life. Apart from FTEs her sx2 is very evident. She is fights the girls when it comes to relationships with the boys and is jealous of the "pretty" girls for being...well, pretty. Her pride in feeling as though she should be treated as a queen is unchanging despite the fact it's a killing game, and it's a much better option than core 3.
