It is not just any episode :D Donno what guys you found here, but I want to share what I got: In a nutshell, it's about evolution of intelligence and mind to finally embrace the peace that was lost a long time ago Zima is a metaphor for evolution of humankind. At the beginning, somehow (by God, Nature, Allah, call it as you want) the species, which performed only what was written from the start, got an ability of self-awareness/consiousness/ free mind, which allowed it to go against written traits and define/set its own way of doing, thinking, acting. That is like humans was able to surpass their instincts, create own ways to perform, accomplish tasks that are set by them But with this ability humans lost connection with nature, the world. They was separated from united peace and harmony, was got to this cruel and painful world, and the only thing people are truly seek is this unity with the world without any anxiety about anything and be harmonious with nature If you read the Holy Bible, the Adam and Eve arc, you will see that. Perceive the God as laws of nature, or instincts, and you'll be shocked how well it describes human nature and problems with self-awareness they got The blue color symbolizes the peace, calm, harmony. This is what Zima was looking for and finally got it, reversing his "higher brain functions" to basic unconsciousness task-accomplishing, and here he has found peace Also, how did he do that? Through the art. The art is a door to the unity with the universe. Through the art he was able to immerse the tranquillity he was searching for This is what I saw.
