Ne user moment. I also want to remark how his Fe tertiary trait is so obvious. One could clearly see how it began to develop towards his later life as he settled down. Although I've been thinking about whether he could be an ESTP recently- as of now, he seems more Si inf than Ni inf, but I'm not too sure. I do, however, want to argue against him being a sx7. In his daily non-literary writing he doesn’t embellish things, from what I know he preferred to tell things as is, and was intrigued by what seems to be ordinary details that captured his attention rather than only the positives? I think this is contributed to by his Ne and not necessarily him seeking out the good parts- it’s the intuition, not rose coloured glasses, I guess.
