Rhyno MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Rhyno? Rhyno is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - SX7 - in Enneagram, in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.
[HEAVY SPOILER WARNING! I've read all stbh volumes (1-8) and analyzed all of his implications, actions, thoughts/thoughts process etc; what contributes to the personality I'm explaining (that of Puck Puca's) and how he "syphons" off of the real body owners personality and memories (aka og Rhyno).] • ENTJ: TeNi His Te is significantly strong; he often comes with plans during the unit's mission to pursue each threat and acts extremely quick in acomplyshing them with precision (according to Xylo and his actions). Even if he may have 'strange ideas' he often comes to agree with the better solution and plan proposed by the unit member he admires. Whenever making a logical pursuit to take down an enemy, his Ni helps him determine the enemies weaknesses (according to volume 4, where he listed out all of his knowledge about the two demon lords the penal hero unit had to defeat in retaking the second capital, and what would be helpful to take them down). He uses his collected knowledge of the threat to defeat it in the most reasonable and effecient way, the same way he did in his battle with Boojum, using mostly logic and understanding of the demon blight as a weaponry. His Se is presented in his curiosity and understanding of the human nature. He loves learning and accepting human etiquette, traditions and what structures human connections and bonds and tries his best to not copy those things (unlike Abaddon) but to come to an understanding of them without fully imitating how a human would practically act, but by pursuing it in his point of view. Lastly, most of the time, he respects the plans of his other team members (thats why his Fi isnt as strong) but if he thinks something is illogical, wouldn't work as best or doesn't align with his well being or ideal, he will take matters into his own hands. He often disregards orders, not in a stubborn reckless way, but to what would make sense to a current situation. In volume 2 we learn he disregarded orders from a superior he was working with, but his plan was more helpful to the cause and saved more civilians along the way. In volume 4 he disregards Xylo's orders of not approaching Anise and by that he learns information and helpful knowledge about her demon blight powers. Not only does he do those things for 'the greater good' but also makes compromises for his well being, as to satisfying his sadistic intent of killing his own kind and ignoring orders just for his selfish intents. • Core 7 : Many people will think at first that he may be a core 2 or 3 because he wants to do well in the face of humans, but thats completely for another unrelated reason that doesn't subdue to the core 2/3. His core 7 desire is to be free from the shackless that the demon blight (esp demon blight core Tìr ná nÔg) issued him with. He betrays his brethren in the northern front when he was still working with the demon blight by commiting fraticide; later on being criticized, punished and shamed for being an unforgivable exception by his tribe, trapping him in a constant feeling of pain, shame and depravation of his needs (which are his murderous intents). Thats what made him want to fight back and escape. He can't feel the guilt of killing his own kind and being in a place which strips his away from the freedom of doing what he wants. It explains the reason on why he makes amends in working with the humans, he realizes that by atoning and helping them, he would be able to continue living to his full extent in his desires. He doesn't explicitly say he sucks up to the humans because all he wants is their praise, but because he figures out doing whatever they please would only secure getting what he truly wants without the shackles of shame that his brethren issued on him. His tribe is limiting him to a box of absolute submission to the demon blight core and what is 'right' for a demon blight to do, thats why he feels like he has nowhere else to go but to stick with the humans because they dont limit his cravings, but rather humans see his murderous intents as a run-of-the-mill thing. He uses the commodity that humanity offers as a way to benefit not only him, but the original body's owner aswell, Rhyno Molchet. Its a win/win for both of them, Puca continuing his acts by making Rhyno a hero in the face of others. Its creating a pathway for humanity's cause and his necessities. Killing two birds with the same stone.
