What personality type is Marla Singer? Marla Singer is an ESFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sx/sp - 487 in Enneagram, SLUEN in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.
So, I'm interested on seeing what people think about the theory that Marla is just another dissociated identity of the Narrator. What do y'all think about that theory? I personally find it to be a really interesting theory. It would fix one of the main errors of the film which relates to the fact that people with DID can't have only one dissociated identity, but rather the disorder always involves at least two different identities. It would also be really interesting with the fact that both Tyler's and Marla's currently decided MBTI types are correlated to the one of the Narrator. Tyler is an ENTP wich directly matches the inverse MBTI type of the Narrator (ENTP-ISFJ), and Marla is an ESFP which matches perfectly the opposite extraversion-introversion functions of the Narrator (Se-Fi-Te-Ni - Si-Fe-Ti-Ne). (I don't have DID, so please tell me if I'm wrong with what I said about it) (And also, this theory only applies to the film. In the book, I've heard it's pretty much well stablished that Marla is a real person).
