What personality type is Dave Mustaine? Dave Mustaine is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w7 - sx/sp - 864 in Enneagram, SLOEI in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
Why 8w7? He's a very obvious sp 3w4 in my opinion. For ENTJ over ESTP, his Te-Ni-Se is higher than Se-Ti-Fe. Just watch any interview and tell me this guy doesn't at least have somewhat of a high Te usage. He might've been in a Te-Se loop in the past, probably causing some confusion but if you read his lyrics you can actually see a lot of Te-Ni usage in it. Compare it to for example James Hetfield's lyrics, his lyrics are more simplistic and down to earth. Mustaine uses more poetic, complicated and metaphorical language for his lyrics. Not saying James doesn't, but you can tell his Ti-Se lyrics from Dave's Te-Ni lyrics. I feel like the ESTP voters are seeing ESTPs as super unorganised and angry people while ENTJs are super organised and in control of emotions. But trust me, in real life, ENTJs can be unorganised people, especially when they are young due to higher Se usage.

He is known as a cofounder of the American heavy metal band Megadeth, its guitarist, lead singer, and primary songwriter as well as the original lead guitarist of the American band Metallica. David Mustaine was born September 13, 1961 in La Mesa, California, to Emily (née David) and John Mustaine.
