What personality type is Donald Duck? Donald Duck is an ESTJ personality type in MBTI, 8w9 - - 836 in Enneagram, RLOEN in Big 5, LSE in Socionics.
I've refrained from typing for a while,he is difficult to type. My top types were ISTP, ISTJ, ISFJ, ESFJ and ESTJ. In the end,I'm pretty sure he is an ESTJ for the following reasons. Firstly,while I considered dominant Si, Donald is also very open to explore new things.Especially in the cartoons,he has a new job every single time and they are completely different,and the same way he always pursues another totally different hobby..There is some Si routine in him,but his willingness and enjoyment of new things and experiences speaks against dominant Si for me.However, since ESTJs have Ne as a third relaxation function,this could explain his liking of new experiences while also being traditional and past oriented.It's Si directly followed by Ne.Then,he cares about his image, is a bit competitive and jealous of Mickey. This generally, seems to be more unlikely for an ESFJ or ISFJ, their Fe tends to be more happy for others.He also doesn't make a secret out of his jealousy of Mickey,an ESFJ/ISFJ would feel more uncomfortable to show this conflict with their best friend openly. And remember how he, in the house of mouse always welcomed guests with a loud ''Welcome to MY club'', though he and Mickey were co-owners.Again,I don't think Fe would have done that. He is also quick to express his disappointment or anger if something doesn't go the way he wanted to, even towards others (again,unlikely for Fe).He generally accepts Mickey's leadership *part 2 in comments*
