Personality

What personality type is Craig Manning? Craig Manning is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sx/so - 974 in Enneagram, SLUEI in Big 5, SEI in Socionics.

Dominant: Introverted Thinking INTPs express introverted thinking by trying to understand how things work. They often like to break down larger things or ideas to look at the individual components to see how things fit and function together. INTPs tend to be highly logical and efficient thinkers. They like to have a complete understanding of something before they are willing to share an opinion or take action. Craig tends to over-analyze things and look at details instead of the big picture. He gets caught up in details and overthinks about them which end up causing him to make mistakes. * With relationships, he will focus on things girls do recently and make conclusions based on them. For instance he’s cheated on a few girls because of them being mad at him, or acting like they lost interest so he just makes conclusions in his head about how they feel and then just goes with it. * His iconic quote, “Me. In an infinite universe, on an insignificant planet, what are we? One of six billion inhabitants, big deal. And honestly? If I were to say - if I were to disappear, who'd care? What would it matter? A subatomic blip in the temporal fabric of creation. So there you have it. Craig Manning.” Auxiliary: Extraverted Intuition INTPs express this cognitive function by exploring what-ifs and possibilities. They utilize insight, imagination, and past experiences to form ideas. INTPs often go over what they know, seeking patterns until they can achieve a flash of inspiration or insight into a problem. They tend to spend a great deal of time thinking about the future and imagining all the possibilities. Craig uses past experiences to influence future actions. In future relationships he will think about the past and how things he did before ended up influencing what happened. Then relating that to the current. He also says a lot of philosophical stuff about how the world works. * “Once people think you’re crazy, I think they just think about that. They stop treating you like you’re you.” Tertiary: Introverted Sensing INTPs tend to be very detail-oriented, carefully categorizing all of the many facts and experiences they take in. As they collect new information, INTPs compare and contrast it with what they already know in order to make predictions about what they believe will happen next. Craig remembers things he thinks are important and recalls it later. He uses previous experiences to influence his future endeavors and beliefs. Inferior: Extraverted Feeling INTPs tend to seek harmony in groups. While they are introverted, INTPs can be quite outgoing when they are around people with whom they are familiar and comfortable. In situations where they feel stress, however, INTPs shut down their feelings and struggle to connect with others. Under stress, they tend to rely on logic rather than feelings. Craig has several friends and he enjoys hanging out with them but he also enjoys being alone. He is absolutely terrible at voicing his feelings under stress. He will hide them especially when he feels it’s not the right time to voice them. Therefore leaving others in a state of wondering what he’s actually thinking. * Craig, unable to admit that he had a horrible time on his date with Manny, told her he would see her later and walked away. * Him overthinking about every girl he ever dated ending up giving him an awful reputation at school with women because he’s terrible at communicating and he ends up doing things that they don’t understand. * Sometimes he says stuff that’s really rude and out of nowhere, “No, it's not okay. I've made a lot of mistakes since coming here, but you were probably the biggest.” * Him hiding his feelings from most people and only being open with some. “Ellie, we group together. You’ve seen me down in the gutter, lower than low, lower than I want anyone else to see me. That’s why you’re my friend. My really good friend.” Reasons why people are probably voting ESFP/ ISFP: * He does the cringe guitar thing on dates, which people usually parallel with ISFPs but otherwise I just don’t see why he’s one of them. He is definitely not a sensor, he’s always processing things in his head and coming to his own conclusions. Even when the answer is right in front of him, sometimes he will doubt it. * He has a lot of friends and enjoys doing things like partying, so of course he’s ESFP. No, this isn’t the case. My INTP bestie enjoys partying too, just doesn’t like doing it alone. Plus, he tends to be quiet or at least more aloof than his friends. * Because he tends to be overly angry and loud sometimes people probably assume he’s ESFP or something but he’s also bipolar and they tend to be like that sometimes especially when they’re in a manic state. They could argue he’s ENTP too but he is too withheld with his thoughts and doesn’t like conflict. He tends to avoid it when possible. But if he’s mad he will express his anger.
