What personality type is Starfire? Starfire is an ESFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w1 - so/sx - 279 in Enneagram, SLUAN in Big 5, ESE in Socionics.
she’s one of my fav charas so here’s why i think she’s an ESFJ !! Fe: she seems to stand by and be driven by the titan’s (as a group) values over her own personal moral code. like i said, she’s driven by those values by always looking out for the titans and being a peacemaker (always trying to find the harmonious solution). i think her Fe is pretty apparent to most. you can see her next two functions supporting her Fe. Si: i see her Si in the way she tries to fit in on earth by drawing her past experiences on earth to guide her (Si>Ni as she uses past experiences instead of patterns). her Si isn’t high enough to be dominant Ne: i think her Ne is an apparent function to most, but throughout the show you can see her thought patterns in predicting ideas kinda shaped like a tree (if you were to line them up), starting from one point and spreading into branches upon branches when she thinks of possible outcomes to situations (there’s a scene im thinking of but i can’t quite put my finger on it, i’ll come back and edit this when i find it). her Ne is quite developed, but not enough to be her dominant function. Si-Ne axis: generally, her Si and Ne are both developed and work together to support her Fe steadily. her Fe still outshines her Si-Ne, being the base/drive of her Si-Ne usage Ti: her inferior Ti is mainly here because all of the other functions fall into place, but i think i have a reason for her Ti being inferior. inferior Ti gives off the impression of being naive when healthy, and while unhealthy can result in self-criticism and the diminishing/silencing the traits of Fe. we can see this in starfire throughout the show as for her enneagram, 2w1 and 279 are what i’m going for. there already arguments in the comments if u wanna know why but i would gladly explain my personal outlook okay tysm for reading !!! have a great day ^__^
Biography
Technically the reason the Teen Titans exist in this show, Starfire is the second of the three children of the Royal Family of Tamaran. When her planet was attacked and devastated by the Gordanians, Starfire's elder sister Blackfire made a peace settlement with the invaders by giving them her younger sibling as a slave. Unfortunately for her captors, Starfire, while apparently rather naive and gentle by Tamaranian standards, was too much for them to handle, breaking loose and flying to Earth. There, she had an... interesting meeting with the other future Teen Titans, who came to her defense against the Gordanians. Like all her species, Starfire can fly, is super strong, is extremely durable, and can hurl energy blasts called "starbolts." Starfire is a strange mixture of personality traits; most of the time, she acts quite gentle and demure, possibly due to expectations of Earth culture and desire to better assimilate in her adopted home, but when the need arises she can be as much the fearsome warrior as any of her comrades. Starfire is deeply fascinated by Earth and enjoys learning new things... perhaps partially because it gives her an excuse to get closer to her leader.
