Doctor Doom MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Doctor Doom? Doctor Doom is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w9 - so/sp - 153 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.
"Ten thousand futures have I looked at. A hundred thousand. And in only one does mankind finally unite, and flourish... and survive. Only one. Doomworld." Doom is a character with a grand vision for the world, he literally seeks one where "Cures for all diseases are found. Global conflicts end. Hunger is abolished. Education is universal. And no one goes without. In that world, there are laws. To break even the slightest of these is to suffer immediate and terminal punishment." as he himself stated on the comics. Classic Unhealthy INTJ 1w9 who seeks their justice and perfected world seeing themselves as the owners of the best vision for the world and the best behavior for people. Could be a 5w6 aswell, and few of his phases in comics might be closer to E5, but once the character has that perfected world under his goals and essence, I think E1 is the one who covers the very archetype of the character and thus should be the one listed here Despite his villain status, Doom has a very powerful Te-Fi axis, his actions are taken objectively seeking his beliefs, he never loses his sense of self even when wielding God Like power, he literally banned a group of heroes from Latveria when they attacked at night because "all children in Latveria must have a good night of sleep". He, however, received a literall message that says if he conquers the world, humanity survives, easing his mind on the weight of his actions once he knows his hands are the safest, unfortunately also developing his problems with his own ego. I can quote many instances where Doom portrays a strong will and moral code with his mother, to his people, to himself, to Valeria (Reed Richards' daugher), sometimes even becoming more of an anti-hero or anti-villain than just an regular villain His Ni is also quite evident, Doom is a long time thinker, observer and visionary. His plans for the world aren't based on experience or failed systems, or even society rules, but on his own conclusions, his own observation of the current world and in what it could become in his hands. His Se, while developed, is certainly inferior as Doom not only does not gather his conclusions through sensorial experience, but he in some level despises this, seeing as an incomplete method of understanding his Earth, even calling out other Se users on this. He also has a massive disregard to his bodies needs when too focused on a goal (Which is stereotype INTJ behavior, happened with me more than I can count), like putting a burning hot iron mask in his face because he wanted to "erase his past and become a new being" or when he spent hundreads of years disguised as the Marquis of Death apprentice just so he could kill him at the right time However, his biggest quote that shows his Inferior Se comes from his talk with Valeria. When asked about evolution, Doom said: "No, evolution is a response to environment. Common sense would dictate that it is our intelligence that must evolve, not our physical bodies" You don't get more INTJ than this
