while i understand the 8 votes, i can't be 100% confident that he is an 8 over a 1. zod's entire thing was that his sole purpose was to protect krypton and destroying earth to continue kryptons existence (whilst not sharing the planet bc itd be more difficult for them to adapt) was to him, doing the right thing. (sexual ones according to beatrice chestnut) i think to zod, overwriting humans so kryptonians could live and flourish was creating a "better world" because then his people would be able to live freely without having to adapt to earth's atmosphere. sexual 1s can also be mistyped as type 8s. zod's fixation on revenge, though can be seen as a trait belonging to the enneagram 8, can also be tied to the enneagram 1. one's have a "thirst" for vengeance so to speak when they think "someone has (1) criticized them, (2) not acted responsibly, (3) taken arbitrary control, or (4) lied to them" (enneagram theory: fixations). zod wanting to take everything away from superman when he took "his soul" seems to be revenge derived from someone taking arbitrary control or even just not acting responsibly imo. to zod, it doesn't make sense for one of his own to choose humans over kryptonians. also i kinda missed the beginning of the movie so im basing it off of what i saw so lmk if u think i missed smth or if this is incorrect in any way
