I feel like she's voted 2 because she really wanted to save everyone. But that wasn't rooted in selflessness nor pride. She wanted to explore her own power and ability and reach her potential of maximum power through seeking it and she wanted to protect all her loved ones and everyone innocent (moreso those who hadn't directly wronged her) in the process. This is all very 4 in my book. Other types besides 2s and 6s can be loyal. Davina is a pretty clear 4/SX4 subtype. She somewhat deluded herself into thinking she can beat the ancestors and rise above what no one before her, has. You saw very few characters willing to compete with the ancestors and the originals as much as Davina, and for good reason. Sbe had a case of 4 ego going on - I'm special syndrome - that stemmed from her trauma, experiences, and confidence in the personality she cultivated for herself after the harvest sacrifice (point of pain/trauma/vulnerability/weakness): willful, well read, and cunning. She never wanted to be as powerless as she was on the day of the harvest, again. Being shaped by your weakest moments and most negative events and experiences is textbook 4. 2 pride is different and not originating from specific experiences, contexts, or even evidence but something they feel innately. They feel pride in being themselves and project reasons for them to be admired out into the world, by others, in order to receive love. Sure, Davina was LOVING but she wasn't motivated by love. She was motivated by her own pain and the desire to win/defeat her enemies. She is absolutely obsessed with taking down everyone who wrongs her: the witches & Klaus. She is also very paranoid like the typical SX4 and accuses every character of lying to her in just about every other scene. She's been betrayed before and ruminates about the possibility of it happening again, a lot.
Biography
Davina Claire is the former Regent of the Nine Covens, a former Harvest Witch born in the French Quarter of New Orleans, and a former member of the Sisters. Davina views Marcel Gerard as the "father figure" in her life. Portrayed by #DanielleCampbell
