If I had to choose 1 character to explain the INFP personality type, I'd pick Max. For those who think she's an INFJ: The whole game is litteraly about Max not being able to make choices because she sees so many possibilities and keeps looking for new ones (Ne). The game keeps joking about her Se blindspot. Her breaking stuff, not reacting to events happening around her,.. Eventually she is forced out of her comfort dreamland zone (Kate's suicide attempt, the incoming storm,..) and she really grows as a character. Especially when she finally has to make a choice at the end and face reality, which is not easy for indecisive Ne users that keep opening paths. Her inner dialogue is all Fi. I still remember how she got super idealistic about Chloe parking on a handicap spot. For those who think this is Fe, it's not. Max's inner dialogue is about what she thinks is good or bad. Not about what is accepted in general as good or bad. And no she doesn't become a Fe user because she helps people.. Fi users can do that too
Biography
Maxine Caulfield, better known as Max (born September 21, 1995), is the playable protagonist of Life is Strange. She is an 18-year-old aspiring photographer and senior at Blackwell Academy. She left her mom and dad in Seattle for the seaside town of Arcadia Bay, Oregon, where she grew up.
