Marshall McLuhan MBTI Personality Type
Personality
What personality type is Marshall McLuhan? Marshall McLuhan is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - sx/sp - 548 in Enneagram, SCUEI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.
ENTP tend to be the best 'outside the box' thinkers. Ne dom makes them open minded and far reaching with possibilties. Ti secondary means they use said possibilities for their quest for truth. Tertiary Fe means they can empathize with others and understand where they come from; however, since its in service to the other functions, they tend to use their knowledge of how people feel and react to push people's buttons on purpose. McLuhan is a perfect example. He understands how people work, and sees the connection with technology. His Ne-Fe means he can detect what drives people and his Ti-Si connect the dots of the underlying source of this drive. Similar function stack to the INTJ, just with Introverted and Extraverted flipped, he comes up with an abstract complex theory that while less detailed than something an INTJ would explore, is more animated, dynamic, and provocative. One of my favourite philosophers. McLuhan was ahead of his time.
